Plenty of parking behind the pub and the entrance gives you access to the main bar by going left and the lounge to the right. The lounge has a couple of long benches against walls with facing tables and chairs. The shelves and mantels display a collection of novelty teapots which are very interesting. Adequate bar stools are also available. There is a small area to the back of the lounge with tables and chairs and I'm sure it was a restaurant in times past. Heart FM was piped into the lounge but it was neither loud nor obtrusive. It is very comfortable, very much like being in your own home. This is one of the most well stocked (beer and nibbles etc) pubs visited so far and to cap it all off everything is lined up with military precision. The likes of Ploughman lunch packs and Peparami can be found amongst the crisps and nuts.
Beer prices were very reasonable but this of course is dynamic and depends on the Chancellor and others seeking to gain money through cash cows like pubs. Hot snacks were available and also reasonably priced.
The main bar is very roomy, has plenty of seating and tables and sports a pool table, large flat screen TV and all the games machines you could wish for.
